The ElmTree System was developed after an extensive “system analysis” of the testing laboratory business and procedures identified many areas for improvement. ElmTree was designed to enable an engineering materials testing laboratory to offer the best service to their clients at a competitive price. ElmTree has been continuously developed, based on our clients input, to meet both national and local laboratory needs. The ElmTree System was developed by engineers and developers of Standard Testing and Engineering Company, which has been in business over 65 years.

The ElmTree standard reports have been reviewed and approved for compliance with appropriate standards through accreditation reviews by the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP), the International Accreditation Services (IAS) program, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers validation program.

ElmTree’s customer support staff goes above and beyond to ensure that any questions you have about the software are answered promptly.

President

Tom Kelly, President, is a founding member of the ElmTree System team. He has driven the application of modern information technology to the engineering laboratory business for client service, efficiency, and economy. He initially offered ElmTree to friends in the industry and it has since gone nationwide.

Mr. Kelly has over fifty years of experience in design, construction, project management, and materials testing. As head of Standard Testing & Engineering Co. for the past 30 years, Tom has helped guide ElmTree to become what it is today – a software service developed by people who know the materials testing and engineering business.

Program Director

Cheryl Wilkerson, Program Director, is a founding member of the ElmTree System team. She has been working with the team since 1997 providing technology solutions for the Construction Material Testing and Geotechnical industries for more than 20 years. She provides expert guidance and advice while overseeing ElmTree client accounts.

Prior to her years spent with ElmTree, Cheryl has helped many large employers with project management needs such as; Hertz Corporation, State of Oklahoma and the Associates. Wilkerson’s educational background includes an MBA from Central State University and a BS in Management Science/Computer Systems from Oklahoma State University.

Marketing Manager

Jake Schooley, Marketing Manager, joined ElmTree in 2014. He is responsible for both client acquisition and corporate marketing initiatives. Jake engages prospective partners through networking and trade show events. Jake evaluates each customer’s individual needs and is highly skilled at determining how the ElmTree System can positively impact their bottom line revenue.

Prior to becoming part of the ElmTree team, Jake developed marketing strategies for Fortune 500 advertisers, national sports franchises and retailers, utilizing patent pending proprietary software designed for smart phone applications. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
